Research Interests
My research focuses primarily on "determinants" of infant and child
development. Much of my research emphasizes the role of physical and social
environmental influences, and the moderation of these influences by individual
difference characteristics such as temperament. I also study the influence of
chronic mild malnutrition upon development, as well as interactions and
covariances between malnutrition and environmental risk factors and buffers.
I also have an interest in behavioral genetics, with specific reference to
genotype-environment interaction and covariance.
