For All Duckees (and not the general public)
This section of the website is for information intended for past
and present members of the Duck Community. However, even though it is
password protected, the Duck Community is large and the security of information
in this section cannot be guaranteed.
Official Announcements
FACEBOOK GROUP: The Duck Conference is now a "group" on
Facebook, limited to those who have attended Duck or received a personal
invitation to do so. There are currently over 40 members. If you
qualify and would like to join, add me to your Facebook "friends list," and then
e-mail me about your interest, and I will send you an invitation. If you are not already a member
of Facebook, keep in mind that membership is free,
but pay attention to your privacy settings unless you want to be bugged
regularly by your students.
Personal Announcements
If you have an important event in your life
(e.g., marriage or childbirth) that you would like to announce to other Duckees,
please inform the conference organizer and such announcements will be listed
here.
Personal Accomplishments
If you have an important
achievement in your life
(ran a marathon, won a contest, lost 10 pounds) that you would like to announce to other Duckees,
please inform the conference organizer and such announcements will be listed
here. But don't expect this section to be very complete, because how many people
are going to remember to send me notices about their personal accomplishments?
Jim Sherman won (for the 25th consecutive year) the
annual Puzzle-up contest, which involves solving problems such as: "Find an
Actor, a Singer, and a pair of relatives who are in Film: The last name of the
Actor transposes (anagrams) to the first name of the Singer. The first name of
the Actor and the last name of the Singer are the two first names of the pair of
relatives in Film. Name them all."

Note that links to Duckees'
photo pages can be found in the "Links" section above.
Space has provided on this web site for nine pictures per conference (twice that for
recent conferences), although the
organizer's personal collection is far less that that, and omits many years
completely. Past participants are encouraged to send photos or scans of other
photos for possible inclusion in this section. Group pictures would be
particularly appreciated. Please specify the year for submitted photos if known.
