To search using a GPS or mapping program, enter "797
COLUMBIA Road, Corolla, NC." Google
Maps, Mapquest and my GPS recognize that
address, whereas entering "Buck Island"
will get you nowhere. The maps below
use this search point.
If you are driving, note that there is no
way to get over to the houses other than
driving all the way down to Great Bridge
(by Point Harbor), going across towards
Southern Shores, and then heading back
north to Buck Island. Unless you
have an amphibious vehicle, of course.

As you enter Orion's Way
from Highway 12 you will come to an
unmanned gate house. I will try to
get the gate code in advance but usually
they won't give it out until you check in,
so you may have to call me to ask how to
get through the gate. Once through the
gate just drive straight to the end of
Orion's Way, where you will see the ocean
in front of you. Our houses are all
to the left on Voyager Street. But
you may want to park in the public lot to
the right at the end of Orion's Way and
walk until you find out where you will be
staying.
The satellite view below
shows the locations of our three houses:
